How an attention board works

By attention.click

An attention board turns a collection of website placements into a visual directory. People can discover brands by browsing the board, opening a profile, and following a website link. For a business, the purchase is the placement itself. Its usefulness depends on the audience, the clarity of the listing, and what happens after someone visits.

What your placement includes

On attention.click, a listing brings together a website domain, title, logo or initial, short pitch, cumulative board value, rank, and outbound link. The homepage highlights the top ten positions and includes a directory of active brands. A profile offers another way to inspect a listing before visiting its destination.

A paid placement is not an endorsement of a business. A higher rank indicates a higher verified cumulative payment value, not a quality score, review rating, or recommendation. Treat the board as a discovery surface and evaluate the destination yourself.

How value turns into rank and space

Rank follows cumulative verified payment value. If a listing already has $16 of value and its owner enters a $17 additional payment, the payment amount is $17 and its projected value becomes $33 after verification. These are different numbers, and checkout displays them separately.

The desktop treemap allocates area in proportion to the values of the top ten listings. Mobile uses stacked ranked cards so names and pitches remain readable. Because other brands can contribute, a position can change. Equal totals follow the published tie rules. Reversals can also reduce a listing’s value.

Choose a position for a reason

Start with a purpose: introduce a new product, make a brand recognizable, or test whether the board brings relevant visitors. Check the current ranking and the minimum shown on the claim page. Decide what you are comfortable spending before comparing positions.

A larger tile can make a name easier to notice, but size does not promise a result. No fixed number of impressions, clicks, leads, sales, or days at a rank is included. Avoid using the top position as a substitute for a clear message and a useful landing page.

Prepare before claiming

Make sure you own or are authorized to promote the website. Use a recognizable name, an accurate one-line pitch, and a logo that stays legible at small sizes. Check that the website works on a phone and that a new visitor can understand its offer quickly.

Read the ranking rules and content policy before checkout. A checkout redirect alone does not mean a listing has been published: payment verification and applicable moderation determine publication. Keep the payment reference if you need support.
